Back at ver 5.6, all it did was come on after several months and tell you how

archives you had opened and remind you that it was supposed to be paid for.

I often install it on a server when I'm first setting it up and months later
when I go to use it it'll say something like 'you had this installed 255 days
would you like to register' - I never bother entering my license, in part
because it still works fine and the effort to dismiss the box once in a blue
moon is less than the one required to look up the license #.
