Are you talking about Duracell rechargeable ? If so they're expensive.

I'd stay away from the nickle and dime batteries like the store CVS brand.

I don't believe that cheap store brands was even mentioned.

I have a Rayovac recharger & several sets of Rayovac rechargeable AA batteries plus a no name brand that came with my Logitech Mouse. Battery life is greatly affected by how often you move the mouse so saying that a pair only lasts you a week doesn't necessarily mean much. Mine only last me a week as well in my Logitech MX 700 mouse but that mouse uses RF whereas my wife has the Microsoft Wireless that uses Infrared & those batteries last for months which is combination of how little time she's on the computer & the fact that they're Infrared versus RF.
