I found a Kodak camera that was designed to refuse to use alkalines, (unless
they were a special battery pack from Kodak...)
It liked NiMH as long as the internal resistance was not too high... They aged
~quickly~ (one year) in the eyes of this camera...

Luckily, (???), after two years and two trips to the factory and many problems
with it, it "fried" and I was able to get a different brand...
