What is the difference between an OEM and a Retail version of a HDD -- for say a Seagate Barracuda 160gB -- except the ~$30.

I appreciate very much all the answers given thus far -- but I see that I have asked the question poorly. Let me try again:

Newegg seems to be selling the same HDD listed as OEM and Retail at a difference of ~$30.

NB Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 SATA NCQ 3.5 Serial ATA 160gB Hard Drive

Both Retail and OEM with a 5yr mfg warranty -- No comment re extra cables or s/w -- and no comment that either may not be purchased alone..

What did I miss?

And while we are at it, can anyone suggest a supplier other than Newegg.

TX, Jim
