>From Help: To make your folders private Open My Computer. Double-click the drive where Windows is installed (usually drive (C:), unless you have more than one drive on your computer). If the contents of the drive are hidden, under System Tasks, click Show the contents of this drive.
Double-click the Documents and Settings folder. Double-click your user folder. Right-click any folder in your user profile, and then click Properties. On the Sharing tab, select the Make this folder private so that only I have access to it check box. -----Original Message----- From: Windows Home/SOHO [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Pete Holsberg Sent: Wednesday, November 09, 2005 1:47 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Files hdden from other users I was installing a new XP machine yesterday and while creating a user account, it asked if I wanted to make the user's files "private" so that other users couldn't see them, so I did. Turns out it prevents users with Admin privileges, too! I'd like to turn that off but cannot find a way. Anyone know? Thanks. -- Pete Holsberg Columbus, NJ -- Age is not a particularly interesting subject. Anyone can get old. All you have to do is live long enough.
