Great job, buddy & thanks for putting the webpage together so that
others can learn from your experience. Unfortunately most mombos with
blown caps wind up in the trash. I probably wouldn't bother replacing
bad caps unless it was an emergency like the time I repaired my
laptop mombo while camping in PA after someone shoved a PCMCIA card
in upside down until something snapped. I have been known to save old
machines & re-assemble them to a working state then donate them to
people or GoodWill. My point is that I wish more people would repair
machines if for no other reason than to donate them & I could be more
diligent as well by replacing caps like you did.
