Envelope-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This is an e-mail message sent automatically by Microsoft Office Outlook's Account Manager while testing the settings for your POP3 account.

Notice there is no "from gmail sent on behalf of from address" therefore I contend Outlook doesn't mess with the headers until you receive it & that sending via O2k3 & Gmail's SMTP should NOT be a problem altho setting up O2k3 to work with Gmail was more difficult than it was with Eudora. Are you by chance using O2k2 & not O2k3 ?

OBTW Gmail has a new service

Gmail Mobile
Now you can access your Gmail account from your mobile phone or device. Just point your phone's web browser to http://m.gmail.com.

Looks pretty neat.
