I have a P4 3.0GHZ with an ATI X600 PCI Express video card. It has 1 GB (2
X 512 MB DDR 400 PC3200) ram and I'm running Windows Media Center 2005. I
am planning on scanning many old pictures to make a home video/picture
library. As RAM seems to be fairly inexpensive these days, I was thinking
of adding another GIG or possibly more as my MB can handle up to 4 GB.
Would adding more ram be of use and increase performance or simply a waste
of money.
Appreciate any comments or suggestions.
