Some of the current flatbads do a reasonable job on negs, but when you read all real poop on scanners, it's a can of worms. You may be scanning 35mm Kodachrome, Ektachrome, negs, or even B&W. All these scanner in combination with software do better in some cases than others. It also depends on the quantity of film you have. I played with HP Photosomart and found it a real hassle, as it did one frame at a time. Before you spend money, make sure you know exactly what you're getting :-) I almost bought this one, after chatting with the guys who know: http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=1941741/search =film+scanner Regards, Rich -- ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Is your picture included in the Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page? http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html If not, write to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
