Yes color lasers can print to the same paper but its best to use photo
laserjet paper that's specifically tonner and thermal formulated so that the
image won't smear
or age in sunlight and humidity. It also depends on the tonner cart you use.
The OEM tonner
carts seem to last longer but are most expensive. The non-OEM tonner carts are
basically recycled
carts that get used and rebuilt over and over again and pretty soon over time
they start loosing print quality.

For non-photo printing both laserjet and inkjet paper can be used
interchangably
esspecialy hammermill, whiteshark are the best brands IMHO. Also Xerox, HP,
Cannon
are good paper products also.

Any packets or reams marked Laserjet will do the job.

Does anyone have any experience with photo quality output with a color
laser printer? I am curious about the paper they can print to.

I currently print on professional quality glossy photo paper with an ink
jet printer. Can the color lasers print to this same paper? If not, is
there an equivalent paper for lasers?

Thanks,

Rod Lindgren
