My A7N8X-E Deluxe is fubar, it started hanging every hour and then it
would hang
before I could even type in my password. It would not restart unless
chkdsk was run,
then it would hang with chkdsk running from the cd, 3 times this
happened, the first
time when restarted got error message no hd present, went into bios
and set auto
detect and the hd was found. The second time it hung while chkdsk was
running and
stopped at 29% it restarted but ended up in chkdsk again and this time
it made it
to 52% and hung, when restarted got the error no hd present went in to
bios again
but this time could not get it to locate the hd.
Switched to backup computer to send this email and would like any
ideas on
what I should do. Will open case and reset bios and check cables, and
try again.
If it will stay running will format and re install XP Pro.
