I'm having trouble sharing the printer on my desktop. I didn't see any
security-like options in the sharing stuff [just "OK to share" and a
share name], so I did that. But now on the other computers on our LAN,
if we try to access the printer we get asked for a password [and I'm not
all that happy, because it takes my admin password to get it to locate
the printer share].

There's nothing on my laptop about that that I can see: I tried adding a
new printer and I gave it \\DESKTOP\\PRINTERSHARE and it immediately
popped up with a password request -- so I'm assuming/guessing that
there's some security setting or policy or something on my desktop that's
preventing the printer sharing without my admin password. Anyone know
what that might be? Thanks!
