i got you both beat - in 7th grade science class a friend was bored and took
her watch apart and i was bored and put it back together - woulda worked
too, but she broke the main spring. <g> PO'd the teacher though - he accused
me of cheating when i got 100's on tests. He made me take the next one in
the corner and i still got a 100. Being proven wrong PO'd him to the point
of hating me. <lol>

I didn't wait for mom's permission & she was ticked when I couldn't
get the electric can opener back together but I made some neat
contraption out of the parts. IIRC it was a mini conveyor belt for a
bigger project.
