Just seen the strangest thing .... my neighbour's PC has had the
motherboard installed with the packaging foam still left on the
underside of the motherboard! You know the mobo-sized slab of
anti-static foam that lines the bottom of the motherboard packing-case?
I've NEVER seen this before, is this just a sloppy or is there a
rationale to this? The PC runs fine, or seems to, he has a power supply
issue at the moment, but the PC has worked OK for 8 months or so with
this foam installed ...
