Hi Tony,
I just changed the access point name, & realised it was the worst time to
have a "senior moment"! It took 5 minutes' meditation to "retrieve" the
name, so I could update the PC's connection info!!

Since someone was already using the connection, and now knows the name of
the access-point, I would change that as well. Then, after making sure
your machines are setup for the new name, disable transmission of the
SSID.
