my daughters HP computer came without a case fan.
Here is the reply she got from HP.

Thank you for writing back.
I had reviewed the specifications of your computer and found that the Mother
board is equipped with Heat sink and does not require any fan. The pins are
provided for future upgrade options. It is by design and no
need to worry. You may purchase the Fan from any HP authorized reseller.

I have never seen a case without an exhaust fan.
How does the heat get out of the case without a fan?
Her case has a lot of perforations.
Can HP be depending on convection?
Or is Philip just full of ****?
The reason this started is that her computer keeps shutting down and
rebooting.
I told her it was because of heat build up.
She needs a fan.
Has anyone seen a case without a fan?
Incidentally this has an AMD Athlon 3000 CPU in there.
