The $150 in rebates on that Linksys require you to sign up for Vonage service.
The D-Link router isn't a bad price, but check in the D-Link forum on dslreports.com and see if anyone is complaining about it. There have been good D-link routers and there have been bad ones. I love my DI-604 (wired), but hated the DI-624 (wireless). As for USB adapters, they're nothing to fear compared to a laptop card or PCI adapter. Just stay with one of the 4 major brands (Linksys, Netgear, Belkin, D-Link). And as always, check the return policies and restock fees before ordering mail order, in case you get a lemon. D-Link Wireless G Router (WBR-1310) My problem is that I don't know anything about them and the price varies so much one tends to be concerned about the inexpensive ones......even if it is for a home network. You know anything about the USB wireless adapters?
