I'm probably way out of line here, but why didn't you rent a modem from
Comcast. Mine only runs about $3 a month.
I have already had several replaced over about a 4 year period due to spikes,
surges, & just because it was slow, without
any cost to me at all. I figure it would take about a year & a half to match
buying one without having the option free replacements.
Just my $.00000000002 worth. I'm sure I will get flamed for this!!!
