she is - that is the white thing <g> I bought her a netgear wap so her
and her roommate can use wireless (we found out when the comcast guy
came to install it that the hookup in the bedroom is dead so both need
wireless if they want to work other than in the living room). I
probably woulda been better off buying a modem/router/wap combo
instead - at $36/yr for the modem and $40 for the WAP, it would be
paid for in a year (or less) but at least this way, if she switches to
DSL or moves the WAP will work work without problem or
reconfiguration.

I have already had several replaced over about a 4 year period due to spikes,
surges, & just because it was slow, without
any cost to me at all. I figure it would take about a year & a half to match
buying one without having the option free replacements.
