Client is looking for the following criteris for an ftp site to share files,
I've spoken with the ISP to see if they can meet these condiftion but haven't
heard back from them yet. I also did some googling and turned up with TONS
of free and paid sites. Anyone have any specific recommendations.
1) What are you going to be using it for, just transfering large files
- Yes.
2) are you the only one who will be uploading stuff to the site or will
external parties also upload to the site.
- Password access only - I'd like to be able to change this from time to
time without bugging you.
3) I assume you'll want the site restricted by username/password, so only
authorized people can up/download files?
- Yes.
4) what's the largest file you expect to transfer
- 100 Meg.
5) what's the largest amount (in mb) that you expect to have on the ftp
server at any one time?
- 200 Meg. Start - should represent about four projects.
6) how long do you expect files to hang around on the ftp server
- no more than 90 days (I hope).
