Only if you leave the less than desireable defaults set the way Adobe desires. Also, if you run a corporate script to install you can remove the update option entirely. At lease I've seen installs where there was no "update" menu entry to change from manual to 30 days or whatever.
Some corporate environments are very slow to adopt new versions although they may be cutting edge in other areas of IT. When I log in on the PC (remotely) I can open my Outlook profile, send myself a PDF as an attachment and they open fine. Anyone have suggestions before I rename the client's user profile and force XP SP2 to create a new one to confirm the old registry is the culprit?
