Just learned from client that he does get a pop up when attempting to ope n PDF attachments although when I log in everything is normal. Quote: I am only having problems with opening PDF files. When I attempt to open them, I receive a pop up box with the header of ‘File Conversion’ that requests the user to select the encoding that makes your document readabl e, Text encoding: Windows, MS DOS, Other encoding." Again, when opened by double clicking the files in My Computer, Windows Explorer, they open fine. They open fine by first launching Adobe Reader and performing a file open. I intend to run a repair on office 2003 and uninstall Reader 7.x and then have the client run our scripted install of whatever version of the Reade r we have as corp standard. -Jester -- ---------------------------------------- The WIN-HOME mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software.
