Why I did not jump on that myself is: had a newer box of Memorex
DVD's and those were willing to burn at higher speed, but an older
box would not. Thought it would be the other way around.
Anyhow new firmware fixed the problem.
Each "model" of the disks has a different Media code number.
The older ones litterally had nothing to do with the newer ones,
and might have even been made by a different sub-contract manufacturer.
