>From other 'problems' I've encountered and read about, - you could try
unplugging the mouse, keyboard, comms link and hard drive - then try
starting it up.
That may get the initial system startup routines in the BIOS to enter a
re-assessment process to look at the hardware.

If the drive powers up, you see a memory check, then it seems to be that the
PSU is working well enough to boot
the CPU and memory are OK as is the video display.

After the startup attempt without the external (to the motherboard) bits
connected, power down, and re-connect them,
although I wouldn't connect the interface to the hard drive until you have
checked the BIOS is appropriately setup
as a problem with that - even just the drive addressing mode could kill the
OS etc on the drive.

Then again - do you have a 'Tech doc' on the motherboard - if not then try
to download one front the manufactures site

Yeah, but I'm in pain here : )

Don't know how to do that. And unless I am mistaken that is not the probl
em.

That's right I can not get into CMOS. As I posted I can not get into set

up. 'Puter hangs after RAM test and thus can not boot from floppy or ROM

drive. After being so careful I am fearful that I have fried something.
