A BIOS button bat? Don't hold much, me thinks.
All recommendations I ever read say "don't short the bat with your fingers".
Now, a big bat, like a D, won't suffer much.
A button bat, OTOH, would.
Grab it with your fingers, shorting it, and then stay a while, like that,
while your mind wonders, contemplating the nature of life,
and you'll end up with a dead bat.

Huh? Since when does holding a battery in your fingers short it? Even if
you connected wires from one pole to the other, it would take a while
for the battery to drain itself.
