If you look on the flat surface it will give you the voltage if other than the
stock single cell rating of 1.5 nominal.

Haven't you got a multimeter?

Simply put the red lead to the flat side and the black lead to the button end
and set the unit to read 2V.

Every home should have one - can't be more than FREE to $10.
