I have a Compaq1 with a working HD loaded with XPHome. I took another HD
from another PC(Compaq2) with its own working copy of XP and put it in the
Compaq1. Now the Compaq1 is telling me "This copy of WIndows must be
activated with Microsoft before you can log on. Do you want to activate
Windows now?" Why is it asking me that when it was used for 2 years already?
I have not clicked on yes or no. I just wanted to put a larger HD in the
Compaq1 because the MB on the Compaq2(where I got the Seagate HD) had gone
out. Did I use the wrong procedure?
