Hi Marcelo,

                        Thanks for the input. Since, i am using Win4lin by remotely 
logging in to a SuSE 6.4 Linux m/c from my SGI
m/c which has a X11 R6.3 X server, where am i supposed to change the option 
"backingstore"?? I mean in which file for an SGI X
server since i believe that the XF86Config file is only for a Linux X server.
