Excellent.  I look forward to hearing more.  (Do I have to be using
patch-4?)  I have an hp scanjet 5300c, which is not quite yet supported
under linux.  (It has parallel and usb interface.)  I tried to set up the
parralell port stuff, but haven't yet got it working.  Thanks for the
scoop
