This worked for me for awhile with Debian's X4.0.1. When I upgraded to X4
after apt-getting some upgraded packages for X, the backingstore option just
stopped working. I also began having some problems launching win4lin using
X4 if I ran "fwin". This worked fine before under X336. I imagine some
security options changed with X4 but I could never quite sort out with the
fwin script what exactly was going on. I recycled my laptop back to debian
2.2 stable with x336, so I think I will try again with win4lin 2 when it
comes out.
