Thanks for that tip Bill.  I'm back to running 7.1.  CUPS was driving
me nuts, the installer won't complete an expert install so I can't
select XFree3.3 and lpd and my wheel mouse kept falling asleep.  Since
this is my work machine I need to get it functional.  Will move the
experiments back to my backup machine :-(

That's what I was doing as well.  What bothers me is that I paid for
Win4Lin and their view seems to be that registered users will be the
last to get the v2.0 release.  It really sours the idea of relying on
Win4Lin for anything, good product or otherwise.
