I need to set up a laptop for win4lin. It will be running (most likely)
redhat 7 + win4lin 2 + windows 98se.
I have no experience with laptops running linux. I am looking at Dell
and/or Gateway, but I'm not set on either.
Does anyone have any recommendations (pro or con) for laptops?
Performance is not really an issue; this will be used for bookkeeping,
accounting, and word processing. However, we will be paying per-minute
internet access, so a good, solid, fast modem is a must as this laptop
will have to interface to our VPN.
The ability to use it in a car, etc, is a plus but not essential. Sound
is a plus, but not essential. TV out jacks would be nice, but again,
not essential.
