Well this is quite the new 2.4 thread that popped up. There are many
different point of
views as to what is right and what is wrong. I won't debate them with you
on this list, that
is a conversation best left to everyone else. Meanwhile, I think it's a
safe bet to expect we
will continue work to improve our software, add features, fix problems and
continue to improve
our support for those products.
In regards to Win4Lin and support for 2.4, let me add a few things.
NeTraverse is committed to providing 2.4 support. We have an alpha Win4Lin
2.4 patch running in house. Depending on how well this testing goes will
determine on
when you can get a hold of it. And when it is released, we can feel good
knowing it's
quality work, and not just "get it out the door" work.
When it is ready to release, or when we have a public date this list will
definitely
get notification, and then we'll answer new questions about support for
some other new
feature. The cycle will never end, and that's not a bad thing. Thank you
for the feedback, the
support and the criticisms.
