I bought win4lin and vmware about the same time.  Win4Lin now sits collecting 
dust whilst vmware is able to recompile and get used on my 2.4.1 kernel 
system.   While I like the operations and a few other things of Win4Lin 
better, it is rapidly losing ground as it loses the ability to compete.
