The 2.4.x kernel development was Open Source. There is no
`insider' knowledge.

They could call version 3.0 by a bigger number for all I care.
The point some of us are making is simply that we bought win4lin
knowing kernel 2.4.x was nearly out. We often asked about 2.4.x
support and were told to wait a bit. After waiting months, you
tell us `You got to use win4lin for all of 6 months for the price
you paid. What do you expect?'. We only got to use it for 6
months because it took them 4 months to get support for the new
kernel out the door. Had they released support for 2.4.x when
the kernel came out, our copy of win4lin would have been only 2
or 3 months old. Get it now?
