I hope they never do. In Europe we pay for our Internet access by the
minute. Offline is the norm for e-mail, news and even, often, web
browsing.
The other point is that it is much easier to compose a correctly
formatted post using decent e-mail or news software than it is to do so
on-line.
I use both Yahoo Clubs and Yahoo Groups. With Clubs, you can only post
through a browser. With groups, you can post through e-mail. No prizes
for guessing which I am more active in!

I can only say that I disagree. Using my much loved Rebecca e-mail
client, I can do all that in seconds.
