Michael,
I think it's quite possible some users may wish to use this "reverse" VM to
facilitate a move to Linux. The majority of end-users still feel very
comfortable with Windows and very uncomfortable with *nix based machines.
The reverse might be true sometime in the future, but definitely not yet.
Allowing a user the same security he or she has running Windows on top of
Linux (ie: as Larry Marshall pointed out when Windows blue screens he just
restarts Win4Lin - easy as pie) in a reverse situation where a Windows user
can just close and reopen a Linux session might entice many people not quite
ready to jump into Linux but are considering the idea. Hopefully this will
be just another tool now available to increase the Linux userbase.
