If you are running a supported distribution's kernel, we'll replace it with
no intervention needed from you. However if you're running a custom kernel,
you probably don't want our installer trying to build you a new kernel with
Win4Lin support.
All of our kernels (including source, precomplied and patches) are available
at ftp.netraverse.com and our located in /pub/win4lin/LatestKernels/. We
also archive the out of date and broken kernels on ftp.netraverse.com, which
are there, but I do not recommend you use (they're archived for a reason).
We have just recently added an additional kernel solution available at
ftp.netraverse.com/pub/win4lin/LatestKernels/LINUX. This directory will
include generic kernel source from kernel.org, which are pre-patched with
Win4Lin support. Simply download it, untar it, configure and install it as
you would a normal kernel. The earliest source supplied in this manner will
be 2.2.18. 2.2.18 source is currently available, with more coming.
