So, what I've done already is recompiled the kernel without MMapped IO.
Now the MAC was set correctly, but the IP wasn't able to be set on the
box. I decided to uninstall completely, reboot, clean the system,
reinstall W4L, reboot, I still get that stupid, ip_interceptor message. I
also changed the MAC range from auto, to what I had done at home, which
was take the last 4 significant bits from my own mac. Upon booting windows
for the first time, it didn't ask me for a password. As well, there was no
network neighborhood either. I added the merge/Nic and rebooted "windows".
Windows complained that my NIC wasn't setup correctly. I'm going to
recompile one more time, and then remove the multicast stuff and see what
happens.
