Ok, No go up to this point. Cannot assign IP addy, Cannot get IP addy.
Also cannot get rid of the following message:
vnetfil_ipinit: unable to register IP interceptor
What the hell is this stupid message? I've uninstalled and reinstalled my
W4L, cleanly, several times, and everytime my system boots, it's got this
message. I use Ip aliases, I've got a 12 addy defined under eth0:0. Should
I get rid of this temporarily and see if that's causing a problem. BTW,
getting rid of Packet Socket: MMapped IO did fix one problem. The MAC is
always recognized properly, and the /etc/default/merge file is all
default.
