Just a note to anyone who might be trying to get something similar to the
above working: success is possible!
Notes that might help:
Missing Wsock32.dll? Copy the file from a 'real' Win98. I have dual-booting
set up, so it's easy to mount the partition and copy the file. Note that if
you switch to the winsock implementation and back, you'll need to recopy the
file. win_network doesn't seem to save the file anywhere (I'll look at the
batch file some more and maybe see if I can suggest a fix for this).
Problems with access outside your box? Don't forget to enable masquerading
for your Windows client.
Once I dealt with these issues, I had no problems.
