Subject: Re: [Win4Lin-users] Win4Lin v3.0 and Linux-Mandrake 8.0
Hello Amanda,
I have added this line to lilo.conf append=" hdd=ide-scsi
hdb=ide-floppy quiet"
and then rebooted. I still had the same problem.
I have, in the past, and it appears now, opened my mouth and placed my
foot firmly inside. <sigh> I followed all of the installer prompts, etc,
etc. But I was not able to read my IDE/SCSI devices.
A simple, DARN IT!!, reboot, and turn off the computer, something I do
only for physical maintenance, go have a cup of coffee, return and reboot
to the Win4Lin kernel fixed my problem. I have access to the Cdroms. Why?
Good question. Solution for the future. Keep my foot out of my mouth??
Thanks
