I was worried about v3 and likewise very happy with v2. So far, tho, the
change has been good. I don't have an upgrade licence, but that's okay. If
there's too much hassle I'm happy enough to buy a new licence. v3 looks to be
worth it.

Anyway, I had no trouble installing through my small home lan. How is your's
set up. I have an old p120 running as a masg box through a ppp connection -
has a script called firemasq to do the ipchains stuff for me since I'm a bit
dim. Then I have a PIII box running mdk8.0 and win4lin is installed on it.
All went not too bad - but I patched and compiled the kernel before doing the
install.

The install didn't do the final windows install for me, but when I hit win it
installed the final stage fine.

But at leastmost of it worked through the lan.
