Something is preventing me
from attaching my dos D: drive
if I am using Redhat 7.1 with the Linux 2.4.2-2win4lin kernel
and Win4Lin-5.2.2a-d.i386.rpm

I do not have this problem
if I am using Redhat 7.0 with the Linux 2.2.16-22win4lin kernel
and Win4Lin-5.2.2a-d.i386.rpm
(which is what I am doing now).

My RH7.0 and my RH7.1 partitions
share a common (third) /home partition,
which is where my WIn4Lin user directory
~gonzo/win. resides.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bill

p.s. Because I suspect the Linux 2.4.2 kernel itself
is the cause of this problem, I think it would be a good thing
if Netraverse continued to support the RedHat Linux 2.2.x lineage
for as long as that it remains officially active (I believe 2..2.19 is
current).
