no, i did 2.4.5. the ac kernels can be problematic. i got my
ext3 patches at www.uow.edu.au/~andrewm/linux/ext3

I started with a stock 2.4.5 kernel from kernel.org. I applied the ext3 patch
from the above website. I then applied the 2.4 win4lin patch, and got two
botches in sched.h (it's easy to see what you need to do to fix them, it has
to do with both patches wanting to put something at the end of a struct).
