I use the SGI xfs cvs tree for my kernel compile. It's pretty kick ass lemme
tell you. Reiserfs has a dump tool now I believe( I was running that before
xfs), and you can just use dump as well for reiserfs I believe too. JFS and
XFS aren't standard, but if you just use the CVS kernel from SGI or their
production kernel, it's no problem. I have SGI-xfs RH 7.1 install and hdparm
tweaked on my drives and it's fast and stable. On my 1.333Ghz at home, it's
super fast.
