The FS admin tools and advanced diagnostic abilities. Also both XFS and
Reiser have much higher scores in the benchmarking than ext2/3. So far I've
been through every iteration of filesystem available to boot linux with, and
Ext3 is the easiest to deal with for / by far. But XFS has been the absolute
fastest and most resiliant.
