This is more than likely a plugin. Docbox.api was another plugin
that exhibited this behavior and was actually documented on
Adobes support site.
Find the offending file, and remove it from the plugins directory and
restart Adobe. By remove, I mean rename it or move it to a different
directory. Delete files at your own risk.
