I just went to the Adobe website and was unable to find anyplace to
download the English Windows version of the 4.05 reader. There are plenty
of 5.0 versions and also 4.05 versions in other languages and for other
systems --- but in this context a Linux version doesn't help.
And yes, I get the same error when Acrobat starts up under Win4Lin.
