I have recently installed my Win4lin 3.0 upgrade and I'm attempting to get
VNET working. This is a fresh install of win4lin. The only carryover is the
patched kernel for SuSE 7.0. (I had Windows boot trouble so everything was
dumped and reloaded.)

What works:
The IP Stack appears to work. I can ping 127.0.0.1 and 192.168.1.99 (The IP
assigned to the Merge/NIC)

What doesn't work:
Pinging beyond the localhost. Attempts to ping the linux host (192.168.1.1)
results in a "Request timed out" errors.

I have been back and forth with netraverse support on this with no luck. They
sent a howto that recommended using an ethertap device. This was setup and I
couldn't ping the ethertap either.

Anyone get SuSE 7.0 and Vnet working? Any suggestions on what might be
missing, either on the Windows side or Linux side?

Thanks in advance for any help/ideas,

Jack Ungerleider
